The afternoon period will encompass a flexible 5-minute break.)
Classrooms for students are open from 8.15am.
Special arrangements are in place for the phasing in of kindergarten and pre-primary students.

Uniform and Stationery Collection
Uniforms and stationery orders will be available fro collection from the school on 24 January, 2002 between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.

Medication
Parents who require the administration of medication to their children during school hours (including asthma preventatives or relievers) are asked to provide the medication to the school and to complete the necessary form (if not previously completed)  on 24 January, 2002 if possible.  The school requests that prescription medication is supplied to the school in pharmacy labelled bottles.

School Tours
Families are invited to join guided tours of teh school on Thursday 24 January, 2002 between 2.30pm - 4.00pm.

Smarties
Wanted for the Visual Arts Room:
  • Mundella plastic containers
  • Plastic peanut butter containers
  • Old cutlery
  • Old towels
  • Broken musical instruments (for still life displays)

Wanted for the Music Room:

  • Cushions that don't go with the decor in your home.
  • Old dress up costumes that students have grown out of.
  • Musical instruments (unbroken) for use in the class (eg. guitar, drums etc).

P & C Cash for clothes
Through Anglicare we will be participation in "Cash for Clothes".  Please start cleaning out your cupboards and closets and get rid of any unwanted or out-grown clothes and at the same time help raise money for our school.  More important information to follow.

2002 Class Lists
Class Lists will be on display in the Information Centre windows after 3.00pm Friday 1 February and will be on classroom doors on the morning of Monday 4 February 2002.

Procedures
We expect the first day of our new school to be significant and busy.  It is essential we make the first morning as smooth as possible for all new students arriving at the school.  It is expected that the Minister for Education and various media sectors will be here fot the start of the school year.

  • Classes will be open from 8.15 am.
  • Class lists will be available on Information Centre windows and classroom doors.

Parents are asked to deliver their children to their rooms and take the time to settle them in and introduce them to the class teacher.  As students become comfortable, parents should leave.

Parking areas will be available for staff and parents:

Staff & long tern parent parking.

Comrie Rd-near Administration Parent parking
Comrie Rd-near Early Learning Centre Early learning parent parking

Please observe Entry and No Entry Signs.

Roadworks
It is expected that roadworks on Comrie Road will be taking place over the holiday break, and should be completed prior to the commencement of Term 1.
