Founding Princilal Sally O’Dea helps prepare the site of the new school

The foundations for Canning Vale’s Catholic Primary School are still to be laid, but founding principal Sally O’Dea is keen to put down her own cornerstones.  Miss O’Dea is in her fourth year as principal at Moora’s St Joseph’s School, but is eager to make the move to Canning Vale at the start of fourth term this year.

“It’s going to be a very exciting time being involved in starting up a whole new school community,” Miss O’Dea  said.

With more than 20 years educational experience behind her, Miss O’Dea has had broad experience as an educator in city and country areas.  Miss O’Dea is looking forward to establishing community involvement at Canning Vale.

Canning Vale Catholic Primary School, to be built on Amherst Road, will open in February 2002.  For enrolment details call Jill Hall at Sacred Heart Primary School, Thornlie on 9459 7222
